Scan Upload Folder

Finds files and folders that exist in the upload directory but have no record in the media library — for example a folder tree copied in over FTP or Explorer — and creates the matching records. Safe to run more than once.

Scope

Whole media library

Dry run — report what would change, write nothing

Queue new files for content extraction and AI indexing Runs OCR and embedding per file. Do a dry run first to see the file count.

Skip files already in the library under the same display name Files uploaded through the admin are stored on disk under a generated name, so a manual re-upload of one looks new. Leave this ticked unless you mean to add a second copy.
